Indrani the Huntress
Appearance
Indrani's tall, willowy frame is packed with wiry muscle. Hers is an exotic beauty; her cheekbones are tall and prominent, her forehead high and regal, her jaw sharp and angled, but hers is a savage beauty as well, for she resembles nothing so much as an arrow in flight, a sword poised to strike.
Her hair is long and dark, sometimes appearing as a deep woodland brown, sometimes the dark red of mud and blood. Her eyes are a lighter brown, almost green, like a leaf just before autumn. Her lips are full and often pulled back in the slightest smirk, as if she is laughing at a joke only she knows.
More often than not she garbs herself in leather and mail, with a heavy, hooded leather cloak sewn with all manner of pockets and laden with all manner of sharp objects. She carries an astoundingly large recurve bow with arrows the size of javelins, alongside a more standard bow and arrow. Her twin blades hang sheathed at each hip.

Skills and Abilities
Indrani is an extremely deadly markswoman, even among young elves such as herself, capable of hitting targets from impossible distances and angles.
For all her long range prowess, however, she is even deadlier with her twin longknives. Though long and limber, hers is the grace of a predator, not a dancer.
She can nigh drink any man under the table, and has the singing voice of an angel.
She can track as well as any elven hunter, and gamble with the wiliest scoundrel. She is skilled at mountaineering, cooking, wilderness survival, sailing (privateering), alchemy, and stealth. She has learned over a dozen human and elven languages, and speaks almost all of them like a native.
Of all her skills, perhaps her most prominent ability is her uncanny tendency to stick her nose where it doesn't belong and get herself into all sorts of trouble.
As an elf, she is both stronger, faster, and more nimble than the average human, as well as more resilient, with sharper senses. Among young elves, she is known throughout the Falwood for her speed and ferocity. She is no battle mage to sling spells left and right, but she knows a touch of magic through the blessings of the forest, having preferred to spend her time mastering more martial pursuits.
Primordial Rhythm: the ability to become one with the rhythm of nature, intuitively increasing Indrani's awareness of her surroundings while simultaneously blending seamlessly into nature. The world seems to bend around her- to accommodate her- clearing natural paths and obstacles, while shadows hug closer, and branches loom longer, almost as if to embrace her. Primarily a stealth technique, but can be used during combat.
Primal Mind: the ability to quiet the conscious mind and exist only in the moment- to become a beast of intuition and instinct. More mental exercise than magical technique, this ability allows Indrani to assume a preternatural focus on any given task, as well as mask her thoughts from mind mages.
Call of the Wild: summons a phantasmal armored beast to serve as companion or mount for a short while. The summoned beasts have their own will and desires, but due to the nature of Indrani's gift and her Primal Mind technique, the beasts are loyal to her, and she can create a sympathetic link between herself and the creature to nudge its own desires in alignment with her own.

Personality
Indrani is first and foremost a dreamer. She dreams of things large and small, quaint and grandiose, and her greatest dream is to experience all of Arethil and every delight and terror it has to offer. She loves peace and quiet as deeply as she loves battle- and more often than not, she loves the peace and quiet of battle, the deep silence between the scream of steel.
Indrani exudes the rugged charm of an elf confident in her ability to kill or maim anything in her way. She is competitive, almost overly so, with a sharp tongue to match the jagged knives often found sheathed at her hips, and a semi-soft heart hidden beneath it all, for all her scowling and posturing.
She is an unrepentant flirt, and not one for propriety, nor does she care much for ranks and titles. With the right impetus, she can be moved to great acts of charity and heroism, but so to can she sometimes be cruel and unfeeling. She is somewhat mercurial, with sometimes sudden and savage mood changes much like the wild beasts she has modeled herself after.
She despises the Anirian Guard.
Biography & Lore
Indrani was born deep in the Falwood to a nomadic clan of rangers and shamans. They would roam the woods and jungles from coast to coast from spring to autumn, wintering in Fal'Addas. She spent seventeen decades training and running the Falwood, apprenticing to half a dozen different elves over the years. She now wanders Atheril in search of excitement and wonder, having come to feel stifled and coddled in the Falwood- to the elders of her kind, she is little more than a child, nevermind that she has seen nearly two centuries of life. Her full name is Indrani'ldanarii'eilith.
