Personality

Upon first meeting, Heaver is a cold and iron-fisted man. He gives off a cold aura of authority and power in his voice and appearance. He is very analytic and keen on people, observing what they do before he acts. This makes him somewhat manipulative. He would rather talk out problems than fight, this often gives him a chance to persuade the opposing party to do his bidding. He is indifferent about different races, he uses all he can at his disposal. Although he is cold, he is not heartless. He is very caring about his connections and friends, including those loyal in the Gilded Lilies. He is also forgiving to those who have wronged him, but he does not appreciate those who abuse this.

Biography & Lore

Childhood

Born within the impenetrable walls of Vel Anir, Heaver Smith was born to Gregory Smith and Crystal Smith, moneylenders of the Smith & Co. Lenders. His childhood was very pampered and high class, giving him the chance to go to get an education. His goal at that age to take the burden of the company so his parents could rest when they are older. He studied economics and helped around his parents workplace, for when he was old enough, the company would be his.

Adult

Years pass and his parents have passed the company to his hands. He has become very popular in the city for his charisma and wit. He eventually got the hand in marriage to Rose, a beautiful daughter of a lord he had connections to. They loved each other at first sight, and Rose became the company's adviser making the business better than before. After a few years they have a child, but Rose died during childbirth. Heaver called the child Lily, in namesake of his deceased wife. He grieved for his wife, but he needed to stay strong, for his child is still alive, and he needed to be the best father he could be. Heaver grows older, doing his best as a father for Lily. Lily was worth more than all the world's wealth to Heaver. She was innocent and beautiful just like her mother, Heaver taught her what he know on economics, hoping one day she would take his spot. Then one fateful day, Lily's health began to deteriorate, her frail body could not hold long. No matter how much he spent on physicians, she died within his arms. Heaver fell into a heavy state of grief and despair.

Recent

Heaver continued his grief in secrecy. He became more cold and closed in nature. He then began a group which would at first collect debts. The "Gilded Lilies" is what Heaver called it, in honor of his daughter, the group now is known to do a spectrum of businesses for Heaver such as mercenary work and diplomatic missions. Rumors say that the Gilded Lilies are engaged in illegal activities, but this is difficult to confirm.
