These beauties are one of the few things that kept me alive during my trek across the Frostreach. Without them, I would have frozen my toes clean off. They keep the ground warm underfoot, although I advise against wearing them indoors. They once set fire to a perfectly respectable rug. It was not my rug, but that hardly softened the outrage of the owner.
The eccentric wizard Grangomelle
The boots are lined with fireweave, a rare material from the Age of Wonders. They radiate gentle warmth that repels frost, prevents slipping on ice, and allows the wearer to stride comfortably through even the harshest snows. Their enchantment cannot melt solid ice but prevents the wearer from becoming trapped in drifts.
