Appearance
A slender and tall elfin creature, Gihada is seen in the mismatched and patched raiments she and her companion procured on their escape from Kierkeborg and Mystmarch. Draped in somewhat modified and ill-fitting leathers, fur, a pauldron and arm guard attached with straps, and rider's boots, Gihada's wild appearance hides the nobility inside. If she cleaned up, put on a dress and diadem, Gihada could be accused of a certain beauty, even if her green eyes were too wild and intense. Her gait that of a warrior instead of a maid.
Skills and Abilities
Scholasticism: Taught from the earliest possible age in the Scholarly pursuits, Gihada has a significant amount of esoteric knowledge sealed in her mind. Philosophy, the natural laws, and botany were her largest studies. Pity she has none of the experience to pair with it.
Combat: All of her bloodline were known in times previous to be warriors, and Gihada was born with the same proclivity. While living on the road her fighting style has become more vicious and panicked, the foundations of martial teachings are present, even if she clearly needs more training.
Magic: A worshipper of the Goddess of the Sea, Gihada's life is shaped by water. After studies at the College, and private education from her many tutors at Kierkeborg, Gihada grew the power of hydromancy, and has in her blood the Hyleskrik, an explosive and devastating scream, which can incapacitate any round her, including herself.
Botany & Survival: Through practice and an innate understanding of the wilds, Gihada learned to survive on the fruits of wood and vale. She can hide, track, hunt and forage for food, medicine and poisons.

Personality
Softness died within Gihada the day she and her companion ran for their lives. A spooked creature, Gihada reacts with silence, or a raised spine to any who approaches. As wary as the doe in the forest, after hunters scared it off.
In battle, Gihada is penitently fearless, hacking without grace for the sole purpose of surviving and saving her little bonded troop. She says little away from friends, and guards her heart above all. Yet, if one manages to gain her trust, they could see the wide-eyed young elf for what she is: an adolescent taking her first wondrous steps into a new and frightening world.

Biography & Lore
The only daughter of the House Kierkegarde's only child, Gihada was heralded as the Scion who would save the ancient, and noble House. She wasn't the son they desired, but she would do.
Yet, tragedy followed like a cloak. Gihada's parents quarrelled constantly, their arranged marriage profiting House Kierkegarde with more land and labour, but not bringing happiness to Anita, the Heir Apparent. Her marriage was a sham. Her husband a lout no other House would marry a daughter to. He was rich, but the cost was paid in blood.
Anita and Prit battled mere days after Gihada was born and swaddled in her grandfather Llyr's arms. Prit lost his life. Anita crawled back to Kierkeborg and fell in her mother Ada's arms.
Days later, Anita died, and a housemaid charged with Anita's healing & care disappeared.
Gihada was told none of this. Llyr and Ada took control of their granddaughter, raising her as the Heir to House Kierkegarde and the hope Anita could never be. They kept her from all but the most prominent eyes, educated her in private, but for forays to the College for carefully selected classes. Every moment of her young life was controlled by her grandmother, Ada.
This one would not fail them. They would not lose their last possible chance at sustaining the once Mighty House.
Yet, Gihada's childhood best friend and housemaid was growing as beautiful and graceful as she. And fearing what one might see of the housemaid, Ada framed her for crimes most foul. Gihada did the only thing she could: Packaged up enough belongings to see them through, and ran with her only friend.
She would find out what happened to her parents. Bethany would discover what happened to her mother, the maid who ran those many years prior.
After a scuffle between Ada's goons and another Noble House's guards left near everyone dead, Gihada grabbed one of the deceased guards' swords, and a horse and kept running. Nobody could be safe. Nobody trusted.
Gihada and Bethany would have to survive on their own, mostly in the wilds while they searched for a way off Mythmarch and the Stormy Isles. A pirate gave passage to the girls to Elbion, and now they search a land completely new to them both.
