Felix Nevarre
There are two kinds of people in this world, son. Those who save lives, and those who take lives."
"And what of those who protect and defend? Those who save lives by taking lives?"
--Conversation between Felix and his father before he joined the Guard.

Personality
A friendly demeanor and can start conversations with just about anyone, he has a propensity for being a good listener and getting people to open up to him. It is often said, that he is not cut out for war, given his disposition to avoid violence when possible. However, his stubbornness to protect and save lives makes up for his lack of ability to take them.
Biography & Lore
Born in Vel Stratholm, where he apprenticed to his physician father as soon as he could, it was never in doubt Felix's path in life. However, as he grew, Felix grew disillusioned that their work was not doing enough. They would often help heal soldiers or others who could not afford magical healing. Felix wanted to make more of a difference, and his solution was to go directly to the source, the battlefields.
This decision would lead to a large fight with his father. Not backing down, Felix would leave his apprenticeship to his younger sister while he would run off to join the guard, getting stationed in Vel Castere to start anew.
