A young woman who, through circumstances and necessity, became a mercenary belonging to the "Bruderschaft des Großschwerts" mercenary company. A decently sized company of shock infantry and supporting types of fighters in the form of crossbowmen and pikemen/halberdiers.

She was picked up after leaving her hometown behind with no prospects for the future. She started by sharpening swords, oiling armor and tending to the general needs of the camp. And later, after being given some basic training she joined the pikewall. Following that, and after she'd earned enough to buy some proper equipment, she armed herself with a greatsword and katzbalger, and armored herself in half plate. To this day she travels with her company, fighting for whomever pays.

Ernesta is a woman identified by bright blue eyes, pale white skin and long dark hair that she lets fall loose down her back most days, and occaisionally pulls into a ponytail or braid if she's expecting trouble. Her choice of attire is a flamboyant as the rest of her comrades, very poofy sleeves for her doublet, and equally poofy hat with plumage of feathers to add to her flamboyance. She spends hours each day to make sure her armor is shining brightly.

Weapon Familiarization: As a mercenary she is familiar with a variety of weapons. Including Greatswords of all kinds, a large number of arming and short swords. As well as polearms such as halberds and pikes.
Cooking: She's been on campaign for long enough to rely largely on herself for a lot of her meals, and has become perhaps the company's favourite cook. Able to make filling and delicious meals out of a lot of what her company can bring her.
Motivator: When on March she is often found in the back with the drummer calling the cadence for the column. This has made her quite proficient at being heard over great distances and through loud environments. And has done wonders for her singing. Her Charisma is not to be underestimated.

She has, as a mercenary, accepted that she's not likely to live very long. And so like her brethren she has resolved to enjoy life to its fullest while she can. She is a smug, arrogant woman who's not at all afraid to negotiate more favourable terms if she sees an opportunity. If she's not fighting or working, she's partying. She frequents all of the taverns in the local area, and is known to bring a large number of her comrades with her to drink the tavern's entire stockpile of alcohol. She's likewise utterly without fear, sometimes to her own detriment, picking fights that don't need picking and aren't that advantageous to pick. She's been in more than a few skirmishes and bar fights that she started, and has yet to learn her lesson, even if she loses.
