Drew was born into a world that was a mix of technology and magic, which made the whole world that more amazing. He was taught to use the ambient energies around him in his creations, because the energy that is magic is everywhere, and his inventions will live as long as that energy. He made ways of capturing the ambient magical energies...and it made, well...stored magic. In reality, it was more powerful than he expected...and the first version exploded. He eventually just had the machines run ambient energy through the constructs. Anyway, he claims that his mother was elven and his father was dwarven, as to appear to be over both factors of his builds...but he was full human.
