Sushui is of a very short height for both of his races. He is considered 'the runt of the litter' when compared to his fellow brothers and sisters. He has long, thin white hair that streaks down into a long, thin beard.

He looks and is very light, not weighing very much. However, the little that is on his body is pure toned muscle. Every inch of his body is conditioned and hardened for war. His aged appearance a lure for foolish robbers and deviants thinking they can rob an old man.

Sushui may very well be the greatest Hand-to-Hand combatant in Arethil. If you ask him, he could defeat anyone with his eyes closed. For hundreds of years, he has travelled the world, honing his skills, taking techniques and skills from every race, implementing them in his own fighting art. Do-Shui is what he dubbed it, after his own name. It includes techniques that cover every possible fighting situation, from fighting on your legs, to fighting on your hands. Flexibility, speed and strength being stressed in every move and nuance.

He is also an expert in every weapon he could get a hold of, his favourite being the short-sword, being both easy to use and light, whilst still being a deadly weapon.

He has no magic capability. Nevertheless, it sometimes seems as if he has some sort of magical support, with plenty of the feats he performs looking as though he had been lifted with magic, or given the strength of a boar.
