Thanasis, where great houses rose and fell like empires in the shifting winds, there was a man named Cullen who knew the bitter taste of loss all too well. Born into the prestigious House of Morvane, he was destined for a life of privilege and power. The Morvanes were renowned dragonlords, their family lineage intricately entwined with the majestic creatures that soared the skies above the land.

But fate had other plans for Cullen. When he was but a young man, his father was accused of treachery and found guilty of betraying the Crown. The once-honored house was cast down, and Cullen's parents paid the ultimate price—execution. Stripped of his ancestral home and the dragons that had graced his family's crest, Cullen was branded with the mark of a traitor's blood upon his face, a permanent reminder to all who looked upon him that he was not to be trusted.

Exiled to the Wall, a desolate and unforgiving region where outcasts and criminals were sent to serve in the infantry, Cullen's dreams and aspirations were shattered. Yet, from the ashes of his former life, a fiery determination burned within him. He vowed to claw back everything that had been stolen from him, to restore the honor of House Morvane and, if destiny allowed, to once again ride upon the wings of a dragon.

Cullen immersed himself in the grueling training of the infantry, honing his skills as a warrior. He became an exceptionally skilled combatant, his blade slicing through the air with precision, and his spirit refusing to be broken. He knew that merely reclaiming his family's estate would not be enough. To truly rise from the depths of disgrace, he needed a dragon—a companion that would recognize his worth and allow him to reclaim his rightful place as a dragonlord.

The path before Cullen was not an easy one. Legends spoke of an ancient challenge known as The Rise, a treacherous test that spanned treacherous mountains and molten rivers, in search of an unbonded dragon or a dragon egg waiting for its destined rider. The journey was perilous, for the wild and untamed dragons would mercilessly slay any who were deemed unworthy. It was a trial that demanded patience, skill, and unyielding determination—qualities that Cullen possessed in abundance.

Undeterred by the odds stacked against him, Cullen embarked on his quest to complete The Rise. With his sword at his side and the mark of a traitor's blood adorning his face, he ventured into the heart of a land brimming with ancient magic and forgotten secrets. Through barren wastelands and treacherous peaks, he pushed forward, his every step echoing his resolve to reclaim his family's name from the depths of despair...
