Circe Carolingian
There is a woman, raised in the comfort and confines of wealth, the maiden comes from the most noble of them all. If you look closely, you can perhaps steal a glance o the ethereal beauty at the water well or her pale skin peeking out from behind a sentry's shield. Her heavy hood not only shields her face from the sun, but also from the greedy eyes of men, men who would stop at nothing to attain her. Hidden behind the bodies of soldiers, the young lady can pass by, unscathed by the pigs that are men.
Her hair is like the waves of seafoam at night. So mysterious, that you could disappear, so soft, that you could fall asleep. Her skin, is like that of the whitest snow. her lips are as pink as the sakura blossom. Slim and slender, she is still strong, like the young bamboo. Her movements rival those of the waves and wind, smooth. However, don’t be fooled by her petite frame, for she is strong and brave. Her mind is sharpened, as is her heart, against the ways of men and wolves alike.
Can you see her? The woman in white? The forbidden princess? She’s there, over there in the mansion. There, over in the market. In the temple. She’s always where you least expect her to be. However, she always seems to creep into your heart, and she doesn’t plan on moving anytime soon.
Her ice cold eyes can see through reality itself, beyond the physical world, they stare right into the empty pupils of death. A field mouse sizing up the lion, king of all that breathes. She needs no blade for her intellect is far more dangerous, able to bend spirits to her will and sing to those who've passed on. Lady of the physical world, queen of the unseen, her domain is not just one kingdom.
Pure of heart and pure of mind a shield of light is her only beacon in this dark world. It leads her to where she is destined to be, and though her feet may wander her steely gaze on the prize does not. She wanders and roams the countries. Born into this world but she feels like an immigrant to the very soil that her feet reside on. So if you see a woman in white, hair as gray as the winter fog, you'll know that it is her. You'll know that it is the princess, the traveler, the ghost in human form.
Physical Description
Aerithil Appearance
Circe possesses interesting physical traits. She has a longer, slimmer face compared to other females. However, despite her extreme beauty, she can often be mistaken for a man. This is due to the fact that she is extremely small chested and will often dress in male garments to avoid assassination attempts or muggings. One of her most notable features would be her eyes. While some happen to have colorful, unusual eyes, Kim Yul doesn’t really. Her blue eyes can convey emotion very strongly despite their lack of uniqueness.
Her body type is one that matches her face. While she is able to gain muscle mass, it does take her awhile. Circe is known for her petite shape and whatnot, but she is not one for battles. Her short height as well as thin and delicate body makes her desirable to nearly everyone, well, those who find pathetic weaklings attractive. She is fairly short for one of the Elven species but this doesn't really cause any real problems.
Clothing Style
Circe can be seen wearing either her adventurouse leather leggings with a light tunic, cloak on, or with her elegant and voluminous gowns. There is no in between. She is expected to maintain a certain image when representing the Carolingian bloodline, but during her forbidden escapades she puts all that behind her. There is no style that she prefers over the other, it is simply all based upon what is going on at the moment or where she is. One item that is unanimous with her identity is her luxurious hooded cloak. No matter what, the golden-trimmed cloth is with her in both states. This could lead to her downfall, but so far no one has drawn a parallel between the formal Circe and explorer Circe, at least not that we know of.
Spirit Realm Appearance
Circe's appearance in the spirit realm is very different than what it is in the physical, tangible world of Aerithil. This is mainly due to the fact that her actual body is not actually changed or moved anywhere unless the physical world alters it in some way. Traveling to the spirit realm is near impossible and completely unpredictable, so she does not appear in this form all to often.
When she is in the other realm, or in layman's terms, Astral Projecting, Circe takes on the form of a humanoid creature which possesses wings. It's certainly not uncommon to see a being with wings in the "limbo" in fact it is quite a normal trait. Wings symbolize the innocence of the soul. The color then is a reflection of the soul's state, whether it is going to the next life or will dissolve into nothing. Other than that her appearance typically stays the same for the most part.
Personality
Timid, soft-spoken, and naive are the only adjectives that truly capture Circe's personality.
Growing up in a traditionally formal family, Circe was taught that she is to not speak unless spoken to. She tries her best to abide by the strict set of rules that she is obligated and expected to follow. However, her childlike tendencies and habits often get in the way of her responsibilities, which almost always result in harsh scoldings and reprimandments from her relatives, and even staff. She always means well, but often is incapable of executing her intentions, causing herself to look absolutely foolish and juvenile.
One of the positive things about being a sheltered and overly protected child is that the subject of these actions, becomes so sheltered that they almost never lose their childlike instincts. Circe often gets distracted and has a short attention span which can get in the way of her studies was well as other things that she must complete. If she truly cares about something, she will try her very hardest to stay on task, but usually fails.
She was always taught that a woman, especially a Carolingian woman, is the face of the whole family. She is the one who will be married off, the most beautiful, the one who represents the bloodline as a whole personification of hundreds of generations and thousands of years of family history. Circe has always been more like a show pony rather than a valued member of society according to her parents and older brothers. She tries to please others, overall just wanting them to approve of the person whom she has become.
She tends to shadow whoever is in charge of her, or taking care of her at the moment. Being rather dependent on someone, Circe can almost always be found clinging onto the arm of the host of the party, or even just her butler. When she does speak, her voice is filled with emotions. She wears her heart on her sleeve, though she attempts to hide how she really feels, and is known as a ‘cry baby’ or a ‘scaredy cat’ by most.
Circe is a generally pretty optimistic person despite the circumstances she has been placed in. The smallest things bring her joy, whether it’s a small butterfly, or a brightly colored ribbon at a merchant’s cart, she always takes the opportunity to smile or laugh. All in all, though she has an innocent and kind-hearted personality, the drawbacks of those traits are being extremely naive, or easily tricked. She’s completely dependent on someone else, not able to survive on her own. While she means well, her failure to stay concentrated frustrates others to no end. In conclusion however, Circe just wants to make others happy, and finally be accepted somewhere.

Abilities
Overview
Circe is what is called as a Spirit Seer. While it seems self explanatory there is much more than to what meets the eye. While it's often shortened to simply Seers, people of this heritage are extremely rare. This is due to the fact that hereditary traits have nothing to do with becoming a Seer. You cannot become a Seer unless you were either a species known for their proficiency in magic or morphed into one between 1-6 weeks in the womb.
Those who are selected to be Seers are said to be entered by either a spirit of discourse or harmony. Once again, it is pretty self explanatory if you use logic. Anyone born with a harmonious spirit infestation will lead a life for the greater good. Anyone born with a spirit of discourse infestation is destined to be nothing more than a wild man or woman hell bent on destruction.
Seers appear physically just the same as humanoid species. They share the same habitual tendencies if they are raised in a healthy, normal environment. However, there have been a few cases in which they go awry due to nothing in particular. While someone may have a spirit enter them, it is possible for one born with a harmonious spirit to be evil and one with a discordant spirit to be good. It does take quite a bit of constant will power, so it’s no wonder that a few people, if any, were able to battle their destiny.

Specific Examples
While it takes a large amount of her energy as well as an excessive amount of concentration soul searching is one of her more “tame” abilities. In a meditative type of state, once she comes into physical contact with someone is able to "read" their aura. This means that she is able to identify it's moral alignment and the state of it. However, it does not warn her of future actions that its owner may take. While she is able to predict whether or not someone will switch or stay with their alignment it is not always correct as the soul is a very abstract concept. Circe uses this to determine whether she wants to pursue a relationship, but tries not to use it.
Communicating with the dead is also pretty self-explanatory. If Circe is in a place that is closely tied to the spirit realm, for instance, cemeteries, and even places where a restless spirit roams, she is able to "converse" with said spirits. She can hold conversations as well as sometimes see spirits if they choose to reveal themselves to her. It is difficult for her to control this ability as she does not control the spirits and what they desire, so occasionally an unwanted visitor will be spotted by her, resulting in a scream or something of the sort.
Circe is also able to perform an extremely exhausting task known as astral trapping. Astral trapping is takine one's own soul content or energy and using said energy to trap or hold in place a being which exists in the spirit realm. However, it take smuch concentration, preparation, and energy to perform such an arduous task. Circe rarely, if ever is able to hold a spirit in place for more than five minutes.
While her abilities seem endless, they are anything but. Depending on the circumstances as well as spiritual environment and type, Circe's manipulation ability can be turned upon herself and make her more susceptible to damage that her target inflicts on her. Since she is capable of existing on the spiritual realm, Circe is vulnerable to spirit tamers such as holy men or even necromancers. This means that she is weaker in places such as churches and mage sanctuaries and often cannot enter said location.
