Baise (pronounced: beiz) travels from town to town with his young adopted son Jude. He sings songs, plays the lute and tells stories for coin, but always seems to have far more than enough money. His clothing and lifestyle suggest more income than a common bard. Baise and Jude are always impeccably dressed.

Wherever Baise and Jude go, they are followed by their three ravens: Tiberius, Vaspien and Fabrice.

He is a quiet and softly-spoken man. Whilst he prefers to listen and enjoy the world around him, he is fiercely protective of those he holds dear.

Baise appears to be a simple - if wealthy - traveller, but he has a remarkable depth of knowledge of the magical arts. He rarely panics and is calm and collected in situations that would present mortal danger to most people. There is a streak of something magical in his blood, for his eyes will shift and change colours according to his mood. He will tell fantastical stories from his travels, but rarely offers a full explanation of his past.

He has a complicated history, having studied heavily in several corners of the world. For several years he was lost to the world, having become the Warlock and lover to Lord Vriage. Baise speaks of his patron as if he is long gone, but never explains the details of this. A warlock would typically be bound to their patron until death. Baise has, however, returned to the lands of men.

Figure

Jude, Tiberius, Vaspien and Fabrice.

He rescued Jude at two years old from a village that had been overrun by the demons of pandemonium. He has raised the curious young boy on his own, constantly doting on him.

Baise does earn money and reputation from more than just his songs. He will take on dangerous adventures anywhere they can be found. He will sign both of them up for expeditions into unknown lands. He will also offer to help in dangerous matters of the occult where wild magics plague the society of man.
