Azula Tamiko
Azula Tamiko, the Order has reviewed your statement as well as those of witnesses there at the Battle of Numachi no Oka. Whilst nobody disputes that your actions resulted in the overall victory for the Dynast, may she live forever, but there is also no doubt that your actions resulted in serious damage and violated the laws of our lands.
As such, the Order has reached a decision.
With immediate effect you will be removed from the Ikimono Regiment and demoted from your position as General to lieutenant. Your new orders are to be a part of the guards offering protection to the Grand Project work across the Steppes. You will be under the command of Kamiko Sayua and only upon her recommendation will you be considered again for active service.
We thank you for your service to the Dynasty.

Kurīchāsaito
The Kurīchāsaito race, otherwise known as the Kurs, are a subspecies of Skinwalkers who were believed to have mated with local tribes of Steppe Elves. Kurs are taller than most humans with keener senses, though their strength and speed is not much above the average of a human. Unlike their ancestors, Kurs cannot change their shape, but they are able to take over the minds of animals and see through them.
Usually the Kurīchāsaito are picky about which animals they use and the bond between a Kur and their Saitomonsutā is a sacred one in their religion. To kill a Saitomonsutā is seen as the gravest of sins. There is no limit to the amount of Saitomonsutā the Kur's will take but they do tend to each have their own special talent a Kur requires in his or her line of work. In exceptional circumstances Kurs will take on a Saitomonsutā for only a short period of time such as for protection when suddenly attacked, and will then release these Saitomonsutā from their bond. However, after an animal has been made Saitomonsutā they tend to be more friendly to humans and as such as often hunted or tamed by others. On occasion an animal will die after becoming Saitomonsutā due to a feeling of immense loss.
Kurīchāsaito are native to the Steppe region of Arethil.

Keiko
Keiko is a Golden Steppe Eagle, and Azula's only current Saitomonsutā. Whilst an older bird she is seasoned in war and incredibly useful when Azula needs messages sending far distances or for a scout she can trust.
Keiko has a particular love of shiny things and torturing small mammals. She has a particular hatred of the small pet dog kept by the cook.
