Doromura
"Captain on our port side"!
Pulling his bottle away from his dried and flaking lips the Captain of the Minnow lazily pulled out his spyglass to better see what was approaching as Dornoch's Port Authorities should have had more than enough to handle to bother going after a small vessel.
Peering through the spyglass only to bring it back down in disbelief as he rose it up again to only see the same impossible sight as before. He had heard talk of a ship within Dornoch that skipped along the waters, but he thought it was merely stories fueled by mistellings and booze.
Pouring out his own bottle the Captain yelled out his orders, "Full sail get a leg on it, go towards shallows no warship can follow us”! Smashing the emptied bottle down to get the crew in motion as he rushed over to the few younger members to get them to tow the line. Though the Captains barking did nothing to snap the young member’s out of their newly onset paralysis that unfortunately only halted their bodies not their mouths as their screams of terror began to spread throughout the crew as something had shaded them from the sun.
Mist and splats of sea pounded down on the Minnow as the Captain turned to see what had taken his crew from him to only that impossible sight now moments away from meeting him and his ship. Time slowed for him as if to allow him to take in the stories of his last moment for those beyond. With his last breath the skipping ship known as the Doromura buried its nose into the Minnow sentencing them to a burial at sea.
Lore
In the wake of increased pirate activity taking the majority of Dornoch's port authorities attention and smugglers rushing any possible entry with fleets of smaller faster ships with the idea to overwhelm Dornoch's authorities. Narumi designed and helped build a ship that can not only chase down the smaller ships, but take on the larger pirates ships.
While sacrificing practically all storage space for only what is needed, the Doromura will not be able to stand for long drawn out range combat with arrows nor should it as it is designed for ramming and raiding to quickly dispatch foes and move onto the next.
With it's blackened gilded hull and red sails the Doromura takes it's metallic keel, and sails from that of a Trireme, but keeps in deck and hull in line with the more general Galley design, allowing for faster boarding while forgoing it's defense against boarding attempts. With it's slightly larger sails and retractable sails along it's sides, The Doromura is a warship designed with it's Aeromacing Captain in mind, Focusing on offensive, speed and maneuverability to overwhelming and devastate it's enemies leaving procurement and prisoners as a priority only if required.

Crew
Aside from the esteem/notoriety of it's captain, the Doromura is also known for it's odd make up compared to that for the rest of the dynasty's military. While women are a majority within it's military ranks the female members on the Doromura excluding can be counted on two hands with the most being apart of the Glider Division.
Some among Dornoch show dissatisfaction with the Narumi's choice of crew. However, the choice of a majority male over female crew is one made out of practicality rather than spite as competition among females within the dynasty can lead to poor cooperation.
Of the three groups that make up the crew of the Doromura, strength and stamina are a requirement for the 96 within in the Rowing Division. Orcs especially orc males are well known for both of these traits. Therefore the choice of orcs for rowing was simple. As for why the division's head is female, challenge her for yourself to find out that answer.
On the other side of the coin the Navigation Division is almost entirely made up of humans with the captain and vice-captain overseeing both every aspect of the ship. Unlike the rowing division, strength is not as much of a requirement as the piloting and maintenance of a vessel requires grace over strength.
Lastly the Gilder Division is completely human as unfortunately the vice-captain and those within the rowing division are too large and heavy for the gilders. While everyone aboard the Doromura can fight those within the glider division are the best of the best. Making up only 20 of 164 members their job is the most dangerous as the first ones into the fight. Boarding an enemy through the air with the help of Narumi's aeromancy, disabling and disrupting the enemy is their prime goal as the hammer that gives the final blow are those among the boarding party.
