Apani
Born the daughter of their Tribal Chief, Apani has been gifted with a strong connection to the spirit world and is next in line to lead her people as Shaman.
Appearance
Apani is considered the jewel of the Forty Feathers tribe. In part that is because of her position as daughter of the Chief, but it also stems from her beauty. She stands lithe in build with large doe-like eyes. She has black hair that is often kept in braids. Apani often tries to stay in standard clothing for the tribe, but she is forced to wear more ceremonial robes when performing her duties. Finally, Apani skin is covered in tribal tattoos that coincides with her training as a shaman. When the tattoos are complete then so is her training. At the moment, she has half the required markings.

Biography & Lore
The Forty Feathers tribe has a unique blessing. For every child born within the tribe, a spirit animal appears that bonds to said child for life. This strong connection grants each individual unique abilities.
This is why, on the day of the solstice, it was at first considered a bad omen when Apani was not born with a spirit animal. However, such worries were quickly dismissed. It is said that when she was born she began to cry and every spirit animal in the tribe came to her call to defend her. Such event was praised by the Elders and from that moment, she was viewed as a blessing for her people.
She was raised under the strict tutelage of the Shaman but managed some training from her father. While she does not hold the position of Shaman yet, the Elders still value her opinion because of her strong connection to the spirits.
