Ahsoka
"The Tsa'lagi are a sub-species of elf most commonly found in the Northern regions of Epressa. Unlike most elves who practise different types of magic from a young age, the Tsa'lagi are akin to humans in that only a few possess the ability. Furthermore, the only ability they have been known to possess is that of Dreamwalking, a rare skill even amongst the elven kind, that allows the Walker to view, manipulate and speak through the Dreamplane. To protect the ability and those who possess it only the chief and other Dreamwalkers know the identity of a Dreamwalker. It is a tightly guarded secret amongst their tribes. Little else is known of these strange gifts.
Not much more is known about the Tsa'lagi themselves other than that they are a nomadic type of people who have found a deep kinship with the land in which they live. Usually they move their communities around their territory and live mainly out of tents made of animal skin hides. When they trade with outsiders it tends to be in animal pelts, woven rugs, and jewellery. For the most part these people tend to stick to their own kind and trade amongst themselves.
Whilst this may paint the Tsa'lagi as a peaceful group and it is true that their conflicts with outsides are few and far between, amongst themselves the Tsa'lagi can be a bloodthirsty and cruel people. They are extremely territorial and their success in battle depends on their knowledge of the terrain. Most won't even know a Tsa'lagi is nearby until it is too late."

Appearance
Ahsoka differs wildly in appearance from the tall, thin willowy elves that most people in Arethil will come across. She may still have the height, standing a good head taller than most human women, but her build is broad and muscular. Most would peg her as a fighter of some kind based on that alone, but her features are commonplace amongst the Tsa'lagi who developed over time to grow into a being able to run for miles in a day without rest, and carry a pack whilst they did so. She wears her hair long and in a series of dreadlocks decorated with wooden beads and ribbons.
On special occasions or in times of war, Ahsoka will paint her face and the exposed parts of her arms and legs in the traditional fashion. As a jewellery maker herself she also wears several beaded necklaces and bracelets even when out hunting. Her dress sense follows that of the rest of her kind and is made out of the pelts, fur and feathers of the animals she kills.

Skills and Abilities
Jewellery Making: Ahsoka is a very skilled craftswoman. Her jewellery skills are known even amongst the few Outsiders her tribe trades with, and other tribes will seek out her own in order to buy her goods for special occasions. Most of her jewellery is carved from wood but she also has skills in silver-making and with carving gems.
Dreamwalking: Her hidden gifts and job within the tribe is that of a Dreamwalker. Ahsoka is able to put herself into a semi-state of sleep and travel through what is known as the Dreamplane. She can manipulate, view and talk through other peoples dreams. However, the Dreamplane is a dangerous place - whilst in the Dream her body is very vulnerable but anything that happens to her within the Dream is dealt to her body in the physical world too.

Personality
Ahsoka is incredibly creative as seen from her work and is very fair with her prices for the amount of skill she puts into each piece. However, her skills in her jewellery making can make her arrogant and stubborn in other areas of her life - especially when it comes to her training in Dreamwalking. She doesn't like to admit that she has to work much harder at her magic than she does her jewellery. She is fiercely loyal to her tribe and her people which makes her a force to be reckoned with when there is trouble with Outsiders and other Tribes.
Some would also describe Ahsoka as being quite reserved and independent, valuing her own company to that of others. However, this is in part down to the fact she must hide her abilities from her relatives and friends.

Biography & Lore
Born to the Notaku Tribe, one of the larger tribes of Tsa'lagi to exist in Arethil and probably one of the more well-known amongst outsiders, Ahsoka was raised by the community and not just her parents. Her childhood was a pleasant one full of exploration and learning of the tribes territory. When she was old enough her father taught her how to make jewellery and her mother taught her how to look for rocks which hid gemstones. When she showed a natural talent for making pieces, she joined the family business and begun making her own collections.
Around 200 years old her ability to Dreamwalk appeared. Accidentally she put herself into the Dreamplane where she ran into two others from her tribe. When the spoke to her as though she should not be there she realised that her dream was not an ordinary thing. In secret, she was brought into the small circle of Dreamwalkers and taught the basics of her gifts.
As the years dragged on her skill with jewellery making increased but she still struggled with her Dreamwalking.
